Ilham Aliyev: We provide nitrogen fertilizers not only for ourselves but also for many countries

Therefore, discussions are currently underway with some foreign companies on establishing mixed fertilizer production in Azerbaijan and ensuring uninterrupted imports of fertilizers to our country, because the global situation in these matters is also uncertain right now. Some fertilizer plants have closed, as with the sharp rise in gas prices, fertilizer production becomes unprofitable, and a certain shortage arises. Of course, from a pragmatic standpoint, we must understand that we will not be able to produce all types of fertilizers, but in any case, it is necessary to expand their range.
