Ilham Aliyev: The volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has increased more than threefold
Our trade and economic cooperation has demonstrated rapid development dynamics in recent years. In 2025, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan increased more than 3 times compared to the previous year and amounted to 795 million US dollars.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA).
Emphasizing that this is an excellent indicator, the head of state said: "In addition, in January-May 2026, trade turnover grew by 33% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 144 million US dollars."
