Ilham Aliyev received the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies in Khankendi

On July 4, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation in Khankendi headed by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the guest conveyed greetings to the head of state from the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Expressing gratitude for the greetings, President Ilham Aliyev asked to convey his greetings to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber wished success to the work of the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization taking place in the city of Khankendi. The guest said that the construction and restoration work being carried out in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, as well as the nature of these places, made a great impression on him.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates specifically on a strategic level in accordance with the vision of the leaders of both countries.

It was emphasized that Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates support each other within the framework of international organizations.

During the conversation, views were exchanged on the activities of Masdar company in Azerbaijan, cooperation programs and strategic actions in the field of renewable energy sources, and future projects in this direction.

The meeting also touched upon issues of cooperation in the energy, tourism, humanitarian and cultural fields.
