Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan

On June 20, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission Laziz Kudratov.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the head of state noted that Laziz Kudratov's visit to Azerbaijan creates good opportunities for discussing issues on the bilateral agenda. With satisfaction emphasizing that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are implementing many joint projects, President Ilham Aliyev noted that this demonstrates the friendly nature of our relations in all areas.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Laziz Kudratov conveyed greetings from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the head of our state. The guest noted that the head of the Uzbek state is preparing for the planned visit to brotherly Azerbaijan and instructed the government to fill this visit with specific practical content.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The guest emphasized that after last year's state visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, active work is being carried out on new priority areas defined by the presidents of the two countries.

At the meeting, the development of trade and economic ties was noted with satisfaction, and an exchange of views took place on issues of expanding industrial cooperation, transport and logistics connections, as well as new joint projects.
