Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of Albania during a working lunch

On May 16 in Tirana, a meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama took place during a working lunch.

As reported by AZERTAG, the head of state congratulated the Prime Minister on the successful organization of the 6th Summit of the European Political Community.

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, particularly in the energy sector, as well as productive cooperation within international organizations. The importance of the project to supply the Albanian city of Korça with Azerbaijani gas was emphasized.

The President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Albania exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
