Ilham Aliyev: Large-scale construction and restoration work is underway in Karabakh

Currently, large-scale construction and restoration work is being carried out throughout the liberated Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.

As reported by BAKU.WS, President Ilham Aliyev said this in his speech at the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

Reminding that Armenia had occupied about 20% of Azerbaijani territories for almost 30 years, carried out ethnic cleansing, and expelled over a million of our compatriots from their ancestral lands, the head of state emphasized that the Azerbaijani people and state never reconciled with the occupation.

"We repeatedly stated to Armenia and the states behind it that if the Republic of Armenia does not voluntarily leave our occupied territories, we will restore the territorial integrity of our country by military means. Unfortunately, Armenia and its patrons did not take our warning seriously, and as a result, they regretted it," the President added.
