"History. Documents. Facts": Armenia as a geographical area

Throughout human history, according to various estimates, there have been several thousand peoples and ethnic groups. Some disappeared, taking with them their cultures and civilizations, while others developed, adapted, and preserved themselves over time. Out of this diversity, only about 200 today possess their own statehood. States, in turn, are conventionally divided into ancient, new, or young.
This is discussed in the latest issue of the analytical YouTube project Caliber.
"There are, for example, countries like Greece - with one of the oldest histories. Despite periods of decline and disintegration, it eventually restored its statehood and exists to this day. On the other hand, there are relatively young states that formed only in the 20th century. The Republic of Armenia, first proclaimed in 1918, is among them. It's important to emphasize: this is not about denying the existence of Armenians as an ethnic group; we are specifically talking about statehood," the material notes.
