Hikmet Hajiyev commented on the possibility of a US company controlling part of the Zangezur corridor

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev commented on the circulating news about the possible participation of an American company in the Zangezur corridor project.

As Report informs, in an interview with the German publication Berliner Zeitung, he said that this is an issue that Armenia should decide.

"Whether they cooperate with American companies or not, it's their business. Meanwhile, we are busy with our own affairs: expanding transport links and establishing contacts with all our neighbors - Georgia, Iran, and Russia. In general, such connections will benefit the entire region. If Armenia is ready, we would like to work together on the Trans-Caucasian transport corridor project," he emphasized.
