Haber Global: The President of Azerbaijan made important statements from Nakhchivan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made important statements during his visit to Nakhchivan.

The head of state spoke, in particular, about the Zangezur corridor, which is of great importance for the Turkic world, and about the significance of infrastructure projects being implemented in the region. According to the President, at least 15 million tons of cargo are planned to be transported through the Zangezur corridor. In addition, gas pipelines may also be laid in the future if necessary. The President of Azerbaijan also noted that many international organizations and a number of countries have shown interest in this route, particularly in the Nakhchivan section of Azerbaijan Railways.
