Haber Global prepared a special report on the historical significance of the Shusha Declaration
Five years ago, a historic event took place in relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Ilham Aliyev signed the Shusha Declaration. With this document, which defines the roadmap of relations, the friendship between the two countries was proclaimed to the entire world.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a video material prepared by Haber Global.
This document, signed in Shusha - the pearl of Karabakh - is important not only for Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, but also for the region and the Turkic world. According to the Shusha Declaration, in the event of a threat or attack on the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, or inviolability of the borders of either party, both countries will act jointly. The report also paid special attention to the history of the signing of the Shusha Declaration on June 15, and emphasized that this date is by no means coincidental. It is noted that on June 15, Azerbaijan also celebrates National Salvation Day - the day when national leader Heydar Aliyev came to power.
"That is precisely why the meaning that this event carries is great and profound," the report states.
