During the meeting ceremony, Ilham Aliyev had an informal conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The head of state also exchanged views with representatives of several countries participating in the assembly.

Later, the President met with his Iraqi counterpart Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid to discuss the role of the intergovernmental commission in bilateral relations.

The report also mentions the Azerbaijani leader's meetings with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Kenyan President William Ruto, and Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset, as well as negotiations with the heads of leading global financial institutions.

Additionally, it is noted that Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan within the framework of the UN GA. The parties discussed steps that could be taken to advance the peace agenda and agreed to continue dialogue.
