Haber Global: Ilham Aliyev stated that the Turkic world is experiencing a period of rise today

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in his address to participants of the Solidarity Forum of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) being held in Baku, once again drew attention to the importance of the Zangezur corridor for Turkic states.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report by the Turkish TV channel Haber Global.

The report emphasizes that representatives from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Hungary, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participated in the forum.

It is noted that the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev read out President Ilham Aliyev's address to the forum participants. In the address, the Azerbaijani leader stated that today the Turkic world is experiencing a period of its rise.

"The victory in Karabakh that we achieved five years ago is a common source of joy and pride for the Turkic peoples. I am confident that the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions that are currently being restored, as well as the Zangezur corridor that will be opened, will play an important role in the development and strengthening of cooperation between Turkic states," emphasized the President of Azerbaijan.
