Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran Discussed the Situation in the Region

On March 30, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the conversation, deep concern was expressed over the continued escalation of the regional situation.

The importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts aimed at the earliest possible cessation of hostilities in the region was emphasized.

The ministers also exchanged views on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
