Foreign Minister: There is no logic in the existence of the OSCE Minsk Group

There is no logic in the existence of the OSCE Minsk Group.

As Report informs, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.

He conveyed to the opposite side Azerbaijan's demand for the elimination of the Minsk Group and related institutions:

"The OSCE Minsk Group was created specifically to resolve the Karabakh conflict, and our territory has already been liberated from occupation. Therefore, there is no logic in maintaining the Minsk Group. If Armenia is truly interested in a complete resolution of the issue, it should not insist on continuing the activities of the Minsk Group and related structures."

Bayramov also noted that, despite the ongoing normalization process, Armenia's armament causes concern.

At the same time, the minister informed the OSCE Secretary General about the need to amend Armenia's constitution.
