Five servicemembers of the Ministry of Defense have been awarded the highest military rank of "Major General"

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on conferring the highest military rank of "Major General" upon servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, according to the decree, the highest military rank of "Major General" has been conferred upon the following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

Colonel Rasul Rasim oglu Aliyev;

Colonel Elchin Rahim oglu Abdullayev;

Colonel Azer Afrail oglu Geybatly;

Colonel Gulmammad Tofig oglu Rzayev;

Colonel Ruslan Dunyamaddin oglu Agasiyev.
