Erdogan: We are glad about the steps taken in Washington toward a lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan
We have been supporting the parties from day one in ensuring peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated this in his speech at the high-level debates during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
He expressed satisfaction with the steps taken on August 8 towards establishing a lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"I would like to thank US President Donald Trump once again for supporting this process, led by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. In this regard, I would like to state that the process of normalizing relations between our country and Armenia continues," Erdogan added.
