Erdogan: Turkmen gas will be transported to Turkey via the Caspian seabed in 5 years
Turkey will import natural gas from Turkmenistan through pipes laid on the bottom of the Caspian Sea in five years.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the Natural Resources Summit in Istanbul.
"Since March of this year, we have been supplying Turkmen gas to Turkey through the territory of Iran," emphasized the Turkish leader.
According to him, 250 million cubic meters of natural gas have been transported via this route so far, and by the end of the year, this figure is expected to increase to 1.3 billion cubic meters.
