Belarus condemned the drone attack on Nakhchivan Airport and declared its readiness to support Azerbaijan
On March 6, at the initiative of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, a telephone conversation was held with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the attacks on the Nakhchivan International Airport and other civilian infrastructure, carried out from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran using unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Minister of Defense of Belarus noted that Minsk strongly condemns such attacks on civilian objects and emphasized the readiness to provide Azerbaijan with the necessary support.
In addition, the ministers exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the two countries in the military and military-technical spheres, as well as discussed regional security and other topics of mutual interest.
