Bayramov called direct dialogue between Baku and Yerevan the most effective format of negotiations

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov called direct negotiations between Baku and Yerevan the most effective method for resolving existing issues.
As reported by Report, the head of Azerbaijani diplomacy stated this in an interview with Turkish TV channel TRT World.
Bayramov noted that bilateral dialogue brings greater results than negotiations involving mediators.
The minister also emphasized that all countries of the world, including Armenia, recognize both de jure and de facto that Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan.
"This means that the Karabakh issue has long been closed. The question arises, why does Armenia still insist on the Minsk Group? Perhaps Yerevan has some plans for the future? Otherwise, we cannot find a logical answer to this question," said Bayramov.
