An enterprise for the production of office furniture and furniture accessories has opened in the village of Ballydja in the Khojaly district

On December 23, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening of an office furniture and furniture accessories production facility of Accurate Az LLC in the village of Ballyjja, Khojaly district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and the founder of Accurate Az LLC Ilkin Abushov informed the head of state about the enterprise's activities.

It was reported that the enterprise is equipped with advanced technologies and equipment from Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, China, and Japan. Annually, 240 thousand units of office furniture of 20 types and 4 million units of furniture accessories will be produced here. 60 percent of the products will be exported, and 40 percent will be supplied to the domestic market. All stages of office furniture production - from obtaining raw materials to finished products - will be carried out at the enterprise. The total cost of the project is 20 million manats, and for its implementation, the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy provided a preferential loan of 7 million manats. The enterprise also took advantage of the benefits and incentives provided to entrepreneurs in the territories liberated from occupation.

The launch of the enterprise will contribute to the formation of furniture production in Karabakh, the expansion of local production and the increase of export potential, as well as raising the employment level of the population in the territories liberated from occupation. Currently, 80 permanent jobs have been created here, and at subsequent stages, it is planned to create 450 permanent jobs.

It should be noted that stimulating sustainable resettlement, private initiatives, attracting investments, and creating a favorable business environment in the territories liberated from occupation are defined as one of the main strategic goals of the state. In this regard, legal entities and individuals operating in the territories liberated from occupation are exempt from profit, income, property, land, and simplified taxes for a period of 10 years starting from January 1, 2023. Additionally, from January 1, 2023, in the territories liberated from occupation, the import of machinery, technological equipment and devices, raw materials, and materials imported by residents according to their areas of economic activity is exempt from VAT and customs duties for a period of 10 years. All these measures ensure the development of entrepreneurship, industry, and the economy, as well as increasing employment of the population.
