A presentation of the "Azerbaijani language" platform was held

On December 28, a presentation of the "Azerbaijani Language" platform was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. Alyona Aliyeva is the author of the idea and project manager.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the presentation was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association, Arzu Aliyeva, head of Baku Media Center, and Alyona Aliyeva, the author of the idea and project manager.

First, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Kamal Abdulla, informed the guests about the activities of the university. The guests visited the university museum, where they learned about its activities and exhibits.

Speaking at the presentation, Kamal Abdulla talked about the importance of the platform for preserving, developing, and popularizing the Azerbaijani language in the modern digital environment.

"In light of President Ilham Aliyev's statements about preserving and developing the Azerbaijani language, which were made during his speech at the meeting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the implementation of such a platform was extremely necessary. Scientists and young specialists of the university have honorably completed this work.

The Azerbaijan University of Languages opens centers of Azerbaijani language, culture, and multiculturalism model in foreign universities, where young people learn the language. The emergence of such platforms and projects is actually related to the work carried out in this direction by President Ilham Aliyev. It is very important that the platforms are interconnected. Since various institutions - universities, establishments, ministries - are carrying out certain work based on the instructions and recommendations of the head of state. However, unfortunately, these platforms and projects are often implemented without mutual coordination.

I would like these platforms to support and complement each other, demonstrating continuity and sustainability. For this purpose, it is advisable to create a Coordination Council. In this case, we will be able to implement President Ilham Aliyev's instructions more purposefully," emphasized K. Abdulla.

The author of the idea and project manager Alyona Aliyeva in her speech noted the important role of education in society. She congratulated all those present on the occasion of the platform presentation. Alyona Aliyeva expressed gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan University of Languages, as well as all project participants for their support in implementing this initiative.

Then, the Vice-Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Zhalya Garibova and project coordinator Sabina Aliyeva presented the "Azerbaijani Language" platform. During the presentation, the goals of creating the platform, its functionality, as well as content designed for different age and user groups were thoroughly explained.

The Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev delivered a congratulatory speech at the event. He noted that the "Azerbaijani Language" platform will make a significant contribution to improving the quality of learning and teaching the state language, as well as expanding digital educational resources. The Minister emphasized that such initiatives play a special role in the development of the Azerbaijani language in accordance with modern challenges.

Speaking about the work being carried out in the country in accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions on preserving the purity of the Azerbaijani language, the minister noted: "The essence of the platform is to teach our language to people for whom Azerbaijani is not their native language.
