A group of scientists has been awarded the commemorative badge "100th Anniversary of the First Turkological Congress"

A group of cultural figures from Turkic countries has been awarded the commemorative badge "100th Anniversary of the First Turcological Congress (1926–2026)".

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the award ceremony took place in Baku as part of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Turcological Congress.

Among the awardees are academicians Rafael Huseynov and Nizami Jafarov, Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, President of the Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History of Turkey Professor Derya Örs, President of the Turkish Linguistic Society Osman Mert, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Kakajan Janbekov, and others.
