Ukraine's Foreign Minister thanked Azerbaijan for another batch of humanitarian aid
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Azerbaijan for another shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the diplomat wrote about this on the social network X.
According to him, Ukraine deeply appreciates the solidarity and practical support of Azerbaijan.
"Another shipment of vital energy equipment is being sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine. It includes powerful transformers, 186 km of electrical cables, and other equipment that will help strengthen the resilience of our energy system ahead of the heating season," the diplomat wrote.
He also expressed gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Azerbaijani people for their support of Ukraine.
As a reminder, today Azerbaijan sent another shipment of electrical equipment to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. The delivery of aid was facilitated by the Ministry of Energy based on the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated September 21, 2026.
The cargo was assembled based on the request of the Ukrainian side and dispatched from the territory of the Sumgait Technology Park. It included cables, wires, transformers, and other electrical equipment with a total value of 2.5 million Azerbaijani manats.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine on multiple occasions to help restore the power supply system.
