Filming of a movie featuring Jackie Chan has wrapped up in Azerbaijan

Filming of the local portion of the movie "Armor of God 4: Ultimatum" starring Jackie Chan has been completed in Azerbaijan. The project has become the largest foreign film production to date carried out in the country.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, attracting foreign filmmakers is one of the priority areas of state policy in the field of cinema. To create favorable conditions for foreign projects, a cash rebate mechanism has been established, allowing a portion of foreign filmmakers' expenses to be reimbursed.

Over the past year, the Azerbaijan Film Commission has been promoting the country's opportunities among foreign filmmakers. The filming of "Armor of God 4: Ultimatum" became one of the first results of this effort.

Twenty-six government agencies participated in organizing the filming process under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture, including the ministries of digital development and transport, internal affairs, emergency situations, and other departments.

More than 200 local specialists and dozens of Azerbaijani companies were involved in the film's production. According to the ministry, participation in the international project will allow local filmmakers to gain new experience and expand their professional connections.

The Ministry of Culture also noted that the filming of major foreign movies contributes to promoting Azerbaijan on the international stage and developing the country's tourism potential. After the film's release, increased interest in Azerbaijan is expected from Jackie Chan's fans, including those in Southeast Asian countries.

After the completion of filming, a meeting was held between Jackie Chan and representatives of government agencies and companies that supported the project. The actor thanked them for their assistance and presented commemorative gifts.
