58-year-old applicant became the oldest student to enroll in a university this year
The State Examination Center (SEC) has announced the ages of the oldest and youngest applicants admitted to universities in Azerbaijan for the 2026-2027 academic year.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the oldest student admitted to a university this year is 58 years old, while the youngest is 16 years old.
16-year-old Gulshan Mammadli was admitted to the dental faculty of Nakhchivan State University with 621.2 points, while 58-year-old Elbrus Huseynov was admitted as a sub-bachelor to the faculty of engineering communication systems at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
