Which products have increased in price the most in Azerbaijan?

In June 2026, the consumer price index for all goods and services increased by 5.8% year-on-year.

As reported by the "Monetary Policy Review" of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), core inflation, calculated excluding price changes for goods and services whose prices are regulated by the state, as well as seasonal goods and services, amounted to 5.5% year-on-year in June 2026.

In June, annual inflation for food products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products was 7.1%. Compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the contribution of food prices to inflation increased and amounted to 3.1%.

The rise in food prices was primarily driven by the increase in prices for milk and dairy products, as well as fruits. The annual price growth for these goods was 9.5% and 10.7%, respectively.

Prices for non-food goods increased by 3.8% year-on-year. The highest growth among non-food goods was recorded for jewelry — 21.7% year-on-year.
