Volume of foreign investments in Azerbaijan's economy increased by almost 31%

In January-June of this year, 2 billion 002.2 million manats were directed to Azerbaijan's fixed capital from foreign sources, which is 30.6% more compared to the same period of 2024.
This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.
Of the total investment amount, 1 billion 949.4 million manats (97.3%) were invested by investors from the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Russia, USA, Switzerland, Japan, Iran, Hungary, France and India.
Recall that in the first half of the year, 8 billion 073.5 million manats of investments were directed to Azerbaijan's fixed capital, which is 0.5% less compared to the same period last year. Over the past year, investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 23.8%, while investments in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 13.5%.
