The World Bank has announced its forecast for the average oil price in 2026
The World Bank (WB) forecasts that the average price per barrel of oil will be $94 in 2026, provided that the energy crisis caused by the war of the US and Israel with Iran begins to ease in July.
As reported by TASS, this is stated in a new World Bank report on the prospects for global economic development.
"According to the report, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has seriously disrupted energy markets. Brent crude oil prices are projected to average $94 per barrel in 2026, provided that the most acute phase of disruptions begins to ease in July. This is 36% above 2025 levels," the document states.
