Milli Mejlis approved the subsistence minimum and needs criterion for 2026 in the third, final reading.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, the decision was made at today's plenary session of the parliament.

Both bills are part of the budget package for 2026.

Thus, for 2026 in Azerbaijan, the subsistence minimum and needs criterion is set at 300 manats, which is 15 manats (or 5.3%) higher than the 2025 figure.

The subsistence minimum for the working population is set at 317 manats, for pensioners - 245 manats, for children - 260 manats.
