The number of restored historical and religious monuments in Shusha has been announced

To date, 27 historical monuments, 5 mosques, and 3 churches have been restored in Shusha.

As reported by Oxu.Az, this was stated by Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov during his speech at the event "Urban Development in the Post-Conflict Period: Restoring Lost Identity and Building an Integrated Future" at the Azerbaijani pavilion within the framework of WUF13.

He noted that many of the monuments were restored from scratch.

"Among them are caravanserais. This work will continue.

This year, we will also begin conservation work on 15 historical monuments in Shusha. This is a responsible project. These works will be launched in the near future. Design work on particularly significant monument complexes will begin," he said.
