The Ministry of Labor of Azerbaijan made a statement regarding pensions

For 9 months of 2025, 5 billion 326 million manats were allocated for pension payments in Azerbaijan, which exceeds the figures for the same period last year by 10% (467 million manats).

As reported to BAKU.WS by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, since the beginning of the current year, all types of pensions have been indexed and increased by 8.1%. In addition, from February 1, the minimum pension increased by 14.3% - from 280 to 320 manats.

During the period from January to September, 33,000 pensions were processed in electronic format. In total, since the beginning of 2019, when the electronic pension assignment system was launched, 171,000 pension assignments have been processed proactively through this system.
