The average salary in this sector of Azerbaijan has risen to almost 2,000 manats
The average monthly nominal salary in the information and communication sector in Azerbaijan in January-February 2026 amounted to 1,915.5 manats.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Statistics Committee, this figure in the public sector amounted to 1,807.8 manats, and in the private sector - 1,982.3 manats.
Compared to the same period of 2025, the average monthly nominal salary in the sector increased by 1%, including a 15.3% increase in the public sector, while in the private sector it decreased by 7.5%.
As of March 1, 2026, the number of employees in the sector was 33.5 thousand people, which is 0.6% less than the figure a year earlier.
