SOCAR's net profit in the first half increased by 14%
The revenues of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) for the first half of 2025 amounted to 42.5 billion manats, which is 5.7% lower than the same period of 2024.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the company's consolidated report according to International Financial Reporting Standards.
SOCAR's net profit in January-June increased by 14% and reached 1 billion 761 million manats.
Operating profit increased 2.6 times to 3 billion 316 million manats. The cost of sales was 36 billion 127 million manats (a decrease of 12.6%). During the reporting period, SOCAR's profit before taxation amounted to 2.373 billion manats (an increase of 18.35%).
The company's payments to the state budget of Azerbaijan for income tax increased by 33.1% compared to January-June 2024 - to 612 million manats.
SOCAR's total assets as of June 30, 2025, are estimated at 96 billion 470 million manats (an increase of 1.9% compared to December 2024).
The company's liabilities increased by 2.4% to 47 billion 144 million manats, of which long-term liabilities accounted for 25 billion 23 million manats (an increase of 14.5%), and current liabilities - 22 billion 121 million manats (a decrease of 8.6%).
SOCAR's equity increased by 1.4% over the six months of the current year - to 49 billion 326 million manats, while the authorized capital remained unchanged and equaled 5 billion 14 million manats at the end of June.
