SOCAR signed an agreement to purchase a power plant in Turkey
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has signed an agreement to acquire the Gama Enerji İç Anadolu power plant located in Turkey.
As reported by Oxu.Az, the document was signed within the framework of the II Azerbaijan-Turkish Investment Forum.
According to the agreement reached, SOCAR will become the owner of 100% of the shares of the 870 MW power plant. The transaction value is 225 million dollars.
It is noted that this investment not only strengthens SOCAR's position in the field of energy production in Turkey, but also contributes to further deepening of strategic energy cooperation between our countries.
