SOCAR opened a training ground for lifting operations at the construction site in Zikh

The Training, Education and Certification Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) opened a training ground for lifting operations at the Zykh construction and installation site of the "Neftegazstroy" Trust on May 30.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, at the event attended by the company's Vice President Ziba Mustafayeva, there was an inspection of the training ground area, where three professions closely related to lifting operations will be taught - signalman, rigger, and stevedore.

Participants of the opening ceremony were provided with information about crane operations, lifting equipment and other technical capabilities used at the training ground, as well as practical training demonstrations.

As part of the event, measures in the field of labor protection, safety and human capital development were also discussed, emphasizing the importance of this initiative aimed at improving the safety of lifting operations.

Participants of the trainings, which will be accredited by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), will be awarded internationally recognized certificates.
