SOCAR discussed cooperation opportunities in petrochemistry and energy resource extraction with Itochu
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Japanese corporation Itochu discussed efforts to expand cooperation.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, the negotiations took place during a meeting between the company's president Rovshan Najaf and the chairman of the Japan-Azerbaijan Economic Committee, Chief Operating Officer of Itochu Corporation Tetsuya Yamada.
At the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the successful long-standing cooperation between SOCAR and Itochu.
During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on cooperation opportunities in various areas of the energy sector, including exploration, production, and petrochemicals, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
