SOCAR considered the creation of joint ventures with a Chinese company
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Chinese company CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. have considered possibilities for implementing energy infrastructure projects, petrochemical projects, as well as establishing joint ventures.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by SOCAR.
It is noted that discussions on this topic took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. Yang Jianqiang.
The meeting highlighted the successful partnership relations between SOCAR and various Chinese companies.
During the conversation, information was provided about projects implemented by SOCAR in Azerbaijan and beyond, as well as the company's corporate strategic goals.
A framework agreement was signed between the companies at the meeting with the aim of exploring potential cooperation opportunities.
