SOCAR announced the volume of oil exported last year
At the fields operated by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) independently or as the main shareholder, 7.5 million tons of oil and 7.7 billion cubic meters of gas were extracted.

According to the information, the upward trend in gas production in the country continued. The corresponding indicator increased by 4.4% compared to 2023 and reached 50.4 billion cubic meters. In total, more than 29 million tons of crude oil were extracted in Azerbaijan during the year.
It is noted that during the reporting period, the volume of oil exported by SOCAR to foreign markets amounted to 16.6 million tons. This indicator includes both oil extracted by the company independently and shares of profit oil belonging to the Azerbaijani state and SOCAR, obtained within the framework of activities of international consortiums operating in the country. Natural gas exports from Azerbaijan increased by 6% to 25.3 billion cubic meters, while domestic consumption increased by 1.7% and amounted to 13.7 billion cubic meters.
In 2024, SOCAR processed 5.8 million tons of oil and 3.4 billion cubic meters of gas. More than 2.3 million tons of petroleum, petrochemical, and gas chemical products manufactured at the company's enterprises in Azerbaijan were supplied to foreign markets. The export volume of these products increased by 2.8%.
