Shahin Mustafayev: Construction of the Aghband-Kalala automobile bridge across the Araz has been completed

Baku announced the completion of construction of the Aghband-Kalaleh automobile bridge over the Araz River.

As Report notes, this was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev at the 17th meeting of the State Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in economic, trade, and humanitarian spheres, which was held today in Baku.

Mustafayev noted that after the completion of work on creating the border-customs infrastructure, the facility is planned to be put into operation.

According to him, the project will provide the shortest and most efficient connection between the East Zangezur Economic Region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, and will also become an important part of the automobile route connecting the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.
