Salaries of certain categories of citizens may be increased in Azerbaijan

Salaries of certain categories of citizens may be increased in Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this issue is reflected in the General Collective Agreement for 2026-2028, signed between the Cabinet of Ministers, the Trade Union Confederation of Azerbaijan, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs' (Employers') Organizations.

It is noted that the country will continue measures to strengthen reforms in the housing and communal services sector, as well as to gradually bring the salaries of workers in this sector closer to the level of the average monthly salary in the country.

In addition, the document emphasizes the need to strengthen state control over the quality of food and non-food products, as well as their compliance with established standards.
