Orkhan Mammadov: Halal Economy Is One of Azerbaijan's Strategic Priorities
Azerbaijan is among the countries with favorable opportunities for the development of the halal economy.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) of Azerbaijan, Orkhan Mammadov, speaking at the Halal Forum organized within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group in Baku.
According to him, the development of the halal economy and the ecosystem being formed in this area represents not only new economic prospects for Azerbaijan but is also one of the strategically significant directions.
Orkhan Mammadov emphasized that the country's location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia creates conditions for Azerbaijan to play an important connecting role between regional and international markets.
