Money supply in manats in Azerbaijan increased by almost 9%
As of December 1 this year, the broad money supply (aggregate M3) in Azerbaijan amounted to 48 billion 662.1 million manats.
As Report informs with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), this is 2.5% more compared to the previous month, 4.7% more compared to the beginning of the year, and 8.9% more compared to the same period in 2024.
The money supply in manats (aggregate M2) amounted to 37 billion 596.2 million manats, which is 1.5% more in monthly comparison, 2.6% more compared to the beginning of the year, and 8.5% more compared to the same period last year.
On the reporting date, demand deposits (monetary aggregate M1) amounted to 29 billion 483 million manats, which is 1.6% more in monthly comparison, 0.6% less compared to the beginning of the year, and 6.4% more compared to the same period last year.
As of December 1, the cash money supply outside banks (aggregate M0) amounted to 17 billion 233.7 million manats, which is 0.9% more in monthly comparison, 8.7% more compared to the beginning of the year, and 10.4% more compared to the same period last year.
