Mikayil Jabbarov: The average annual GDP growth in 2022-2025 will be 3.3%
Average annual GDP growth in Azerbaijan in 2022-2025 is projected at 3.3%.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov during the discussion of the draft law "On the state budget for 2026" in the committee on economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship of the Milli Mejlis.
According to him, both external and internal factors were taken into account when preparing the budget draft:
"Uncertainty in the global economy persists. Against this background, sustainable development is observed in Azerbaijan this year. Taking into account the expected growth rates in 2025, the average annual GDP growth in 2022-2025 is projected at 3.3%. This growth is fully provided by the development of the non-oil and gas sector, and the average annual GDP growth in this area over the four-year period is expected to be 6.1%. This indicator is higher than the goal defined in the strategy."
