Mikayil Jabbarov met with IMF delegation

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by IMF Mission Chief for Azerbaijan Anna Bordo.

As reported by Baku.ws, the head of the economic department shared this information on his X social media account.

"The main results of the IMF mission were presented at our meeting. Economic growth in the country, inflation rates, import and export indicators, and challenges in the financial sector were brought to attention.

Discussions were held on increasing the role of the private sector in economic diversification, tax reforms, ensuring sustainable financial opportunities, strengthening public-private partnerships, transparency, climate action, and improving the performance of state enterprises," the minister noted.
