Mikail Jabbarov met with bp company vice president

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with bp's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell during a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As BAKU.WS reports, the head of the economic department announced this on his X social media account.

"We considered opportunities to improve energy supply, implement exploration and production projects in the oil and gas sector, create new connections in the Caspian Sea, Asian and African regions, as well as assess investment potential.

The meeting emphasized mutual prospects for diversifying joint activities between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and bp based on reliable partnership and enhanced regional synergy," the publication states.
