President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikail Jabbarov congratulated the wrestlers who won medals at the World Championship taking place in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
As BAKU.WS reports, the head of the federation wrote about this on his X social media account.
"The first medalists have been determined at the World Championship in Zagreb (Croatia). Three members of the national freestyle wrestling team made it to the podium. Georgiy Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won a silver medal, while Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Arseniy Dzhioev (86 kg) won bronze medals. We congratulate our wrestlers, coaches and family members of the athletes who achieved this success with great perseverance. We believe that these successes will continue in the coming days," said the head of the federation.
