Mikail Jabbarov congratulated the Azerbaijani wrestlers who won medals at the Islamic Games

Azerbaijani wrestlers finished 2025 with amazing results.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was written by the president of the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov in his account on the social network X.

He congratulated the athletes who won medals at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games: "Our team performed brilliantly at the Islamic Solidarity Games organized in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, winning 11 medals (2 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze). We heartily congratulate our athletes, their coaches and parents on this achievement and wish them continued success in the coming year."

Recall that at the Islamic Games among Azerbaijani wrestlers, Zhalya Aliyeva and Arseniy Dzhioev won gold, Khasrat Jafarov, Murad Akhmediev, Ruzanna Mamedova, Islam Bazarganov, Aganazar Novruzov - silver, Elnura Mamedova, Nigyar Mirzazade, Magomedkhan Magomedov and Georgy Meshvildishvili - bronze awards.
