Expansion of the non-oil and gas sector and the creation of a favorable investment environment remain key areas of Azerbaijan's economic policy.
As Report informs, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov at a forum dedicated to the tax system.
According to him, the country's medium- and long-term economic policy is aimed at expanding the non-oil and gas sector, creating a favorable investment climate, developing competitive production and services based on digital solutions, as well as establishing a sustainable employment model.
Sharifov noted that this approach is fully consistent with strategic documents, in particular the "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development" program and the current socio-economic development strategies.
"To transform these strategic goals into real economic results, effective governance, consistent implementation, and coordination between government agencies are of key importance. Without a unified approach, flexibility, and institutional synchronization, it is impossible to ensure sustainable and inclusive development," he emphasized.
