How much does the import of palm oil to Azerbaijan cost?

In January-October 2025, Azerbaijan imported a total of 42,465.69 tons of palm oil and its fractions. The import value amounted to 58 million 42.65 thousand dollars.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, during the reporting period, the country imported 41,026.5 tons of crude palm oil and its fractions for a total amount of 56 million 220.25 thousand dollars.

Of these, 35,768.77 tons were imported from Indonesia and 5,257.73 tons from Malaysia.

At the same time, the import of other types of palm oil and its fractions amounted to 1,439.19 tons: Russia - 746.94 tons (1,182.94 thousand dollars), Ukraine - 10 tons (20.3 thousand dollars), Indonesia - 589.53 tons (791.73 thousand dollars), Malaysia - 90.72 tons (208.67 thousand dollars), Turkey - 2 tons (4.75 thousand dollars).

As can be seen, the average price of one kilogram of imported palm oil for the first 10 months of 2025 was approximately 1.38 dollars.
