The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has raised its forecast for Azerbaijan's average daily oil production for 2026.

This is stated in the June issue of the EIA's "Short-Term Energy Outlook" report.

According to the updated data, oil production in Azerbaijan this year will amount to 550,000 barrels per day (b/d). Last month, the forecast for this indicator was 540,000 b/d.

In the second quarter of this year, oil production is also expected at 550,000 b/d, compared to the previously forecasted 540,000 barrels.

In the third and fourth quarters, production is expected to reach 540,000 b/d. In the May forecast, this indicator for these quarters was estimated at 530,000 b/d.

It should be recalled that in the first and second quarters of 2025, oil production in Azerbaijan stood at 570,000 b/d, and in the third and fourth quarters at 560,000 b/d.

According to EIA data, in 2025 the production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan was at the level of 570,000 b/d.
